Poolside Safety Surfacing

Seamless, pour-in-place surfacing that makes the whole pool deck barefoot-friendly — anti-slip when wet, cooler underfoot than concrete, and cushioned for the inevitable poolside tumble.

We pour it as one continuous, joint-free surface across the pool surround, splash zone and lounging deck — your colours, patterns and logo cast straight in — so the deck looks designed, not patched, and drains fast with no puddles between the loungers.

Key enhancements

What seamless poolside surfacing does for a resort.

Anti-slip, wet or dry

Independently verified anti-slip ratings in both wet and dry conditions — so dripping feet and poolside runners keep their grip where smooth tile and concrete turn treacherous.

Cooler underfoot

A University of Western Sydney study found the surface stays significantly cooler in full sun than rubber or artificial grass — no scorched feet on the dash from lounger to water.

Seamless, no trip edges

Poured in place as one continuous sheet: no tiles to lift, no joints to stub a toe, and a flush finish that sheds water fast instead of pooling between loungers.

Cushioned and comfortable

A resilient, slightly giving surface that is kinder to bare feet, knees and the occasional slip than hard tile or stamped concrete.

Shrugs off pool chemistry

Closed-cell polyolefin beads in a two-part aliphatic polyurethane binder resist chlorine — specified to 10 ppm — plus salt and UV, so colours hold and the surface does not degrade poolside.

Your colours, patterns and logo

Fully customisable: graduate your brand palette across the deck, or pour in wayfinding, depth markers and a logo medallion — design freedom a tiled deck cannot match.

Key products

The Polysoft surfaces we pour poolside.

We match the system to each zone — non-porous decks, porous wet surrounds, cushioned tiles and dry lounging areas. Every product links through to its page on Leka Catalogs.

Why choose us

Why resorts surface their pool decks with Polysoft.

One finish, deck to water

From the lounging deck to the splash zone and the pool coping, a single continuous surface — no transition strips, no mismatched materials.

Low-maintenance, hygienic

A sealed, non-porous Aquatrak finish hoses down easily and resists mould and algae; porous Splash drains instantly. Either way: less cleaning, fewer slip claims.

Retrofits over what is there

Aquatrak's low 4–6 mm profile bonds straight over tired concrete or painted decks — a fast resurface without ripping out the existing slab.

Specified and installed by Leka

We spec the right Polysoft system for each zone, manage the pour, and hand over a deck built to last in Asia's sun and monsoon.

Design tool

Design your colour blend.

Mix up to six granule colours from our surfacing palette, dial each in by 5%, and watch the speckled surface come together in real time. Save the preview or copy a share link so your design team — or ours — can pick up exactly where you left off.

Colours shown are on-screen simulations to help you explore combinations — the cured granule colour varies a little with each batch, the binder and the light it sits in, so we always confirm against physical samples before a surface is poured. For architects & landscape architects

Specifying play into a resort or masterplan? We work the way your studio does.

A good share of our work is specified by the architecture and landscape practices shaping resorts, hotels and public realm. Here is what that partnership adds to your studio.

Schematic-phase design support

Brief us at concept or schematic stage and we send back layout options, 3D renders and a play-value rationale you can drop into a client presentation — free, with no obligation to buy.

BoQ-ready, bilingual specs

Each item arrives specified — dimensions, materials, safety zones, certifications — as drawing-ready line items in English and Thai, so your QS and your client read the same document.

Compliance evidence for your set

Play equipment certified to EN 1176, surfacing to EN 1177 / ASTM F1292, with critical-fall-height data sized to each structure — the documentation your specification and the site inspection need.

Factory-direct pricing

We manufacture and import directly, so the play budget buys specified-grade equipment at a transparent price — and tends to survive value engineering with the spec intact.

One accountable partner

Design support, supply, surfacing and installation under a single contract — so the outdoor-play scope does not fragment across your consultants and the main contractor’s trades.

Specified for the tropics

UV-stable, monsoon-drained and corrosion-rated for Southeast-Asian sites — so what leaves your drawings still performs and looks right after a few seasons on the ground.

Whether you’re designing a resort or hotel landscape, a residential or mixed-use scheme, a masterplan or public realm or a nature-led, ecological landscape, the play and outdoor scope is the part we make drawing-ready.

Operator FAQ

Common questions for this scope.

  • Is it really less slippery than tiled pool coping?

Yes — Polysoft surfaces carry independently verified anti-slip ratings tested wet and dry, the conditions a pool deck actually sees. It is a core reason resorts move away from glazed tile and smooth concrete around water.

  • Won't a poolside deck get too hot for bare feet?

Polysoft runs significantly cooler than rubber or artificial grass in full sun — confirmed by a University of Western Sydney study — and you can specify lighter shades for the hottest zones.

  • How does it cope with chlorine and salt water?

The system is built from chemical-resistant polyolefin beads and a two-part aliphatic polyurethane binder, specified to resist chlorine to 10 ppm — well beyond normal pool levels — plus salt and UV.

  • Porous or non-porous — which do we need?

Splash zones and wet surrounds usually want porous Splash so water drains straight through; pool decks and indoor water parks often prefer the non-porous, trowelled Aquatrak finish, which is easier to clean. We specify per zone.

  • Can we match our brand colours and add a logo?

Yes — colours, patterns, depth markers, wayfinding and logo medallions pour straight into the surface, so the deck reinforces your brand instead of fighting it.

  • Can you support our schematic or design-development phase?

Yes. Brief us at concept or schematic stage and we return layout options, 3D renders and a play-value rationale you can put straight into a client presentation, at no cost. We stay available through DD and tender so the specification stays coordinated.

  • Do you provide BoQ-ready specifications and CAD/3D for our drawings?

Every item is specified with dimensions, materials, safety zones and certifications — in English and Thai — as drawing-ready line items, with 2D footprints and 3D models or renders on request so your team can place equipment accurately.

  • Is the equipment certified to the standards we have to specify?

Play equipment is certified to EN 1176 and surfacing to EN 1177 / ASTM F1292, with critical-fall-height data matched to each structure. We hand over the documentation your specification and the project’s safety inspection require.
